Calendar Girl

My darling Daughter (she of the unwrinkled skin and perky boobs) tells me I'm finally, truly an old woman, because I bought a Tea & Teapots Calendar for 2013. *sniffs* Well, I like it. Wait til she sees the cardigan and slippers I'll be wanting for Mother's day...

What's your January calendar picture? (please feel free to make me feel less old)

  1. I'm too disorganised to ever have a calendar, but if I did, I'd love that one too. I'm a cuppa tea girl since I was 5 or so lol

  2. That's a beautiful calendar picture. Will we be seeing the rest as the year wears on?

My January picture is an outback public toilet, I'm not sure exactly where as the calendar doesn't say, but I think it is one on the side of a road between Alice Springs and Darwin. It's hanging in my bathroom, next to the loo.

    1. Love the loo idea, goodtalking point. Probably will post each month's pic, just to annoy my daughter ;)

  3. My darling daughter is giving out about the tacky 'Skylanders' calendar in our kitchen as chosen by my son. I don't like it much either but since it hangs above my head I rarely see it :) But he can...

  4. I bought a "Mackintosh" calendar. I have yet to Google why it's called that, but it is all sketches from the Nouveau/ Bauhaus period. January is a stylised floral sketch. Upcoming pics include a brilliant Bauhaus chair and a cafe design sketch.

I'm not judging my age by my calendar. It has more to do with things like the two creases that have suddenly etched themselves between my eyebrows. :/

    Happy New Year!

  8. We bought the Brett Whitely Calendar from the AGNSW when we were there a few weeks ago and realised that it was mid Jan and we did not have one at all..Jan was The Balcony 2. I do however LOVE that teapot and am happy to be called an old lady because of it!
